status, without having an active CPR, First Aid and OSHA 10 card. One must also meet any requirements listed per
classification.
Pay and Advancement Construction Wireman (CW)
There are 5 levels for those in the CW program.
NOTE: Those with 3,500 hours of documented work experience in electrical construction may challenge exams to determine classification as a CW.
Exams may consist of both written and practical (hands-on) testing.

NOTE: A CW can be advanced to CE1 with all of the following: 8,000 hours worked in our CW Program with good work reports, current CPR,
First Aid, OSHA 10, OSHA 30 and 70E training, and pass the Level 1 Craft Certification Exam.
Pay and Advancement Construction Electrician (CE)
There are 3 levels for the CE program. To qualify for the CE1 classification one must have a minimum of 8,000 hours of documented employment
in the electrical construction trade.
NOTE: With 8,000 hours or more of documented work experience one may begin immediately to challenge the online craft certification exams.
If or when one completes the required exams they will be referred to the Local Union Examining Board for evaluation to determine if they qualify
as a Journey Level Member. To advance, we remind the reader, one must have an active CPR, First Aid and OSHA 10 card.

NOTE: If there is enough expressed interest for classroom related training and/or review sessions, we will schedule such classes
for those with an
interest in advancing their skills and knowledge.
APPROVED COURSE: Is any course the Committee has approved prior to enrollment in the course. The Course may be offered by a Community
College or other post-secondary institution but – it must be approved prior to enrollment. A syllabus must be submitted for approval prior to enrollment.
REMINDER: No advancement without an active CPR, First Aid and OSHA 10 card.
